Project Description

The project consisted of the removal of a cramped half-story and roof and its replacement with a full second story addition with a butterfly roof and soaring ceilings. Improvements include a full master suite with contemporary master bath, a new rooftop deck and bridge connection from the master suite to the existing pool, a complete remodel of the main floor living areas, and a complete overhaul of the mechanical and electrical systems.

Environmental Benefits

The homeowners led the way in ensuring that the home meets their environmental goals, and as a result the home became one of the first in Arlington, VA to be certified under the “green home choice” program.
